Big Announcement! (Like, Huge!)

As many of you know, The A.V Club recently cancelled my signature column, My World of Flops, on the eve of its tenth anniversary. I was not overjoyed, to put it mildly, at the loss of both the column’s longtime home and the income it brought in, so I asked if it would be possible to continue the series on Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place.

They replied that it would be alright once the final entry ran on The A.V. Club (I had two in the can when it ended, one just ran, the other will run soon) so I am very pleased to announce that in the not too distant future Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place will be the new home of My World of Flops. I could not be happier. I think of My World of Flops as my baby, and Nathan Rabin’s Happy Place as my baby, so it’s wonderful that they will be sharing a home.

I want to start off the independent era of My World of Flops on a bold note by covering Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign. Why? Because I can and I think it’ll be fascinating.

What would you like to see me cover in My World of Flops 3.0 and should I change the name to My Universe of Flops to reflect its rebirth? Please do let me know in the comments.

Let me know and I look forward to (God-willing) many, many more years of happy flopping with you.
